The Rae Dunn x Kirkland’s Collection included a social media campaign consisting of teaser posts, giveaways, blog posts, influencer collaborations, and user-generated content. This campaign focused on a reach KPI to tap into Rae Dunn’s existing follower base.
30 Days of Happiness Brand Re-Launch Campaign
Kirkland’s re-launched their brand in August 2019 with a new tag line, “Bring happiness home.” The new branding focused on the idea of “a happy home is a beautiful home.” This launched on social with a 30 Days of Happiness, where followers were given a daily challenge to help bring happiness into their life. The challenges also helped promote new product launches including dinnerware, rugs, and bedding.
Instagram Engagement
Instagram strategy focuses on an engagement KPI to help build a loyal follower base while providing inspiration and ideas on decorating with Kirkland’s products. Posts primarily focus on the use of user-generated content and in-store imagery to provide inspiration and a preview of the shopping experience. In store imagery receives 4x the engagement of an average post and helped the follower count grow to 1MM.
Instagram Stories
Story strategy includes a mix of blog post promotion, interactive graphics, and showcasing more user-generated content. Interactive elements such as product tags, voting polls, and question boxes are used to promote engagement throughout the Stories. Influencer takeovers are also used to help promote new products.
Pinterest Content
SEO friendly captions and custom graphics are used to promote products and blog posts. Boards also contain SEO friendly titles and descriptions to help with reach on the platform.
Facebook Engagement
Facebook strategy focuses on driving engagement while also promoting the blog and current promotions for the brand. Engagement tactics include asking questions in captions and asking followers to vote on different styles.
Half Full Blog
The Kirkland’s Blog was completely revamped in 2019 to provide additional inspiration, ideas, and insights into trends and product launches.
